This glossary was developed within the framework of the Artistic Seminar | MUSMIG – Intersectional Storytelling, led by İpek Hamzaoğlu and Gabriela Urrutia Reyes.
The glossary was developed collectively through individual student contributions, each engaging with archival materials, texts, and situated narratives connected to migration, memory, and resistance. Drawing on A Glossary of Haunting by Eve Tuck and C. Ree as a conceptual framework, students produced entries that interweave critical reflection, storytelling, and research-based practices. The resulting publication brings these voices together as a polyphonic, evolving resource that explores storytelling as a method for self-historicization, counter-archiving, and queer-feminist knowledge production.
The project is part of the Institute of Studies in Art and Art Education, Art and Communication Practices, University of Applied Arts Vienna, in collaboration with the Museum of Migration collective (MUSMIG).
The collective MUSMIG advocates for the establishment of a Museum of Migration in Austria.
