Leitung I Lecturer<\/em><\/strong>
Die LV \u201eKunst im Kontext II | Digitale Kommunikations- und Medienwelten Mz<\/em> *Baltazar\u2019s Laboratory\u201c wird im Kollektiv unterrichtet. In diesem Semester gestalten Lale Rodgarkia-Dara und Sarah George Wilhelmy den ersten Teil der Lehrveranstaltung. Die Ausstellungskonzeption sowie deren gemeinsame Gestaltung und Aufbau liegen in den H\u00e4nden von Anna Watzinger und Olivia Jaques. Das Kollektiv besteht derzeit aus Evamaria M\u00fcller, Erika Farina sowie den oben genannten Personen.

The course „Kunst im Kontext II | Digitale Kommunikations- und Medienwelten<\/strong> Mz* Baltazar\u2019s Laboratory“ is taught collectively. This semester, Lale Rodgarkia-Dara and Sarah George Wilhelmy will lead the first part of the course. Anna Watzinger and Olivia Jaques are responsible for the exhibition concept, as well as its joint design and set-up. In diesem Semester widmen wir uns der kritischen Medienkunstproduktion auf drei Ebenen: Theorie, Exkursion und Kunstproduktion.

Die Lehrveranstaltung beginnt mit einer gemeinsamen Exkursion; wenn m\u00f6glich mit \u00dcbernachtung. Ziel ist es, eine Auseinandersetzung mit Theorie in einer entspannten Atmosph\u00e4re zu erm\u00f6glichen und gleichzeitig eine Basis f\u00fcr kollektives Handeln zu schaffen.

Um eine kritische Lesart und Reflexion der Literatur und Kunstproduktion zu f\u00f6rdern – ein zentraler Bestandteil der Lehrveranstaltung – , werden individuelle Vereinbarungen getroffen. Diese werden kollektiv pr\u00e4sentiert und weitergegeben, wobei die Form frei w\u00e4hlbar ist.

Der praktische Teil umfasst die Gestaltung eines eigenen (transmedialen) Kunstwerks mit Bezug zu den Inhalten der Lehrveranstaltung. Die Werke werden im Rahmen einer gemeinsamen Ausstellung am Ende des Semesters im Mz Baltazar\u2019s Laboratory<\/em>* (J\u00e4gerstra\u00dfe 52\u201354, 1200 Wien) pr\u00e4sentiert. Die Kunstwerke k\u00f6nnen explizit auch in Kollektiven erarbeitet werden.

This semester, we will focus on critical (media) art production on three levels: theory, field trip and art production.

The course begins with a group field trip; if possible, this will include an overnight stay. The aim is to facilitate an engagement with theory in a relaxed atmosphere whilst simultaneously laying the foundations for collective action.

To encourage a critical reading and reflection on the literature and art production \u2013 a central component of the course \u2013 individual projects will be agreed upon. These will be presented and shared collectively, with the format to be chosen freely.

The practical component involves creating one\u2019s own (transmedia) artwork relating to the course content. The works will be presented as part of a joint exhibition at the end of the semester at Mz Baltazar\u2019s Laboratory* (J\u00e4gerstra\u00dfe 52\u201354, 1200 Vienna). The artworks may also be created explicitly as part of a collective.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
